Organization Background: 

 Afghan Development and Vocational Training Program (ADVTP) is a non-profitable, non-political, non-governmental organization established in1991 working with the poor and marginalized community to reduce poverty and inequality through an innovative approach and rights based perspective. The organization is registered with the government of Afghanistan, Ministry of Economy (Registration No 301).on 2006. (ADVTP) is committed to gender equity and a rights‐based approach to programming promoting active participation of communities in decision-making and in the planning, implementation and evaluation of programs. Women, Children and Youth are at the heart of (ADVTP) Afghanistan’s community‐based efforts to improve education, employment, agriculture and expand local economic opportunities. ADVTP is committed to formulate and implement effective programs to foster sustainable changes in the lives of vulnerable groups of Afghans especially women. ADVTP program development is through a series of consultative and participatory approaches and activities are those identified by afghan men and women in communities as high priority areas for their social and economic development. ADVTP program areas are in line with the Afghanistan National Development Strategy (ANDS). It aims to contribute to the Afghanistan Sustainable Development Goals (ASDGs) and address the fundamental challenges facing Afghans. ADVTP works to reduce poverty and inequality through an innovative approach and rights based perspective. The organization is committed to gender equality and a rights‐based approach to programming promoting active participation of the poor and marginalized communities in decision-making and in the planning, implementation and evaluation of projects and activities. Transportation routes, Agriculture resources, Vocational Training and Educational programs. The main office is located in Kabul Afghanistan with four regional offices in Logar , Parwan, , Paktia, Khost and one liaison office in Peshawar. ADVTP has been carrying out its activities/ services in Kabul, Logar, Khost, Paktia, parwan,kundoz and Takhar provinces in the sector of Vocational Training program Construction/Rehabilitation of Road, Bridge, Water supply (Pipe scheme, shallow well, drawing point) Shelter, Irrigation, Poultry, Food production, Capacity building, Emergency / Free Distribution etc. ADVTP is governed by a five member board of directors. 2. Responsibilities 

  •  Curriculum Development: The head unit would design and develop the curriculum for the Tor training program. This includes determining the learning objectives, selecting appropriate topics, structuring the course content, and creating instructional materials.
  •  2. Training Delivery: The head unit would organize and deliver the training sessions or workshops to educate participants about the Tor network. This may involve in person training sessions, virtual webinars, or a combination of both.
  •  3. Instructor Management: The head unit would recruit and manage qualified instructors who have expertise in the Tor network and related topics. They would ensure that the instructors are well-prepared, equipped with the necessary resources, and capable of delivering effective training.
  •  4. Participant Enrollment: The head unit would handle participant enrollment and registration for the training program. This may involve managing applications, evaluating participant suitability, and communicating important details and logistics to the selected participants. 
  • 5. Training Resources: The head unit would provide the necessary training resources, such as training manuals, presentations, hands-on exercises, and reference materials, to support the learning process of the participants. 
  • 6. Evaluation and Assessment: The head unit would design assessment methods to evaluate participants' understanding and progress. This could include quizzes, assignments, practical exercises, and examinations to ensure the learning objectives are met. 
  • 7. Collaboration and Partnerships: The head unit may establish collaborations and partnerships with other organizations, Tor experts, or industry professionals to enhance the training program. This could involve inviting guest speakers, organizing joint workshops, or accessing additional resources.
  •  8. Support and Follow-up: The head unit would offer ongoing support to participants, answering their questions, providing guidance, and facilitating networking opportunities. They may also organize follow-up activities or advanced training sessions to further enhance participants' knowledge and skills.
  •  9. Monitoring and Feedback: The head unit would monitor the effectiveness of the training program and collect feedback from participants. This feedback can be used

3. Qualifications and Experience 

  • Tor Network Knowledge: A deep understanding of the Tor network, its architecture, protocols, and security features. Familiarity with how Tor operates, including relay nodes, encryption, and anonymization techniques. 
  • 2. Education and Training: 2-5 Experience in curriculum development, instructional design, and training delivery. This includes designing effective learning materials, structuring training programs, and employing instructional strategies that cater to different learning styles.
  •  3. Technical Expertise: Proficiency in computer networking, enhancing technologies. Knowledge of encryption, network protocols, and related tools used in conjunction with the Tor network. 
  • 4. Leadership and Management: Strong leadership skills to effectively manage the head unit and coordinate training center activities. This includes overseeing instructors, managing resources, and ensuring smooth operations of the training program. 
  • 5. Teaching and Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey complex technical concepts to a diverse audience. The ability to explain Tor-related topics clearly and facilitate engaging training sessions.
  •  6. Tor Community Involvement: Active participation and engagement in the Tor community, attending conferences, workshops, or contributing to relevant open-source projects. This demonstrates a dedication to the Tor network and a solid understanding of its community-driven principles. 
  • 7. Collaboration and Networking: Experience in building partnerships and collaborations with organizations, industry professionals, or academic institutions to enhance the training program. The ability to establish relationships that can bring in guest speakers, subject matter experts, or additional resources. 
  • 8. Evaluation and Assessment: Knowledge of assessment methods and techniques to measure participants' progress and evaluate the effectiveness of the training program. This includes designing evaluation tools, analyzing results, and making appropriate improvements based on feedback.
  •  9. Continuous Learning: A commitment to staying updated with the latest developments in the, and related fields. This ensures the training program remains relevant and incorporates the most current knowledge and practices.
