Organization Background: 

 Afghan Development and Vocational Training Program (ADVTP) is a non-profitable, non-political, non-governmental organization established in1991 working with the poor and marginalized community to reduce poverty and inequality through an innovative approach and rights based perspective. The organization is registered with the government of Afghanistan, Ministry of Economy (Registration No 301).on 2006. (ADVTP) is committed to gender equity and a rights‐based approach to programming promoting active participation of communities in decision-making and in the planning, implementation and evaluation of programs. Transportation routes, Agriculture resources, Vocational Training and Educational programs. The main office is located in Kabul Afghanistan with four regional offices in Logar , Parwan, , Paktia, Khost and one liaison office in Peshawar. ADVTP has been carrying out its activities/ services in Kabul, Logar, Khost, Paktia, parwan,kundoz and Takhar provinces in the sector of Vocational Training program Construction/Rehabilitation of Road, Bridge, Water supply (Pipe scheme, shallow well, drawing point) Shelter, Irrigation, Poultry, Food production, Capacity building, Emergency / Free Distribution etc. ADVTP is governed by a five member board of directors. 2. Responsibilities 

  • Tor Network Expertise: In-depth knowledge of the Tor network, including its architecture, protocols, and encryption methods. Understanding how Tor can be used to enhance privacy and security in the context of electrical engineering projects and student activities. 
  • 2. Electrical Engineering Knowledge: Familiarity with electrical engineering concepts, principles, and practices. Understanding how Tor can be applied in the context of electrical engineering projects and research conducted by students.
  •  3. Student Engagement Strategies: Skill in designing and implementing engaging learning activities that involve Tor and its applications in electrical engineering. This includes creating hands-on projects, experiments, and simulations that allow students to explore and understand the benefits of Tor. 
  • 4. Privacy and Security Awareness: Knowledge of privacy and security principles and best practices relevant to electrical engineering education. Understanding the importance of protecting sensitive information and privacy in student projects. 
  • 5. Training Program Development: Ability to develop training programs and resources for teachers that emphasize the benefits of Tor for student learning in electrical engineering. This includes creating lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments. 
  • 6. Instructional Delivery: Strong presentation and facilitation skills to deliver engaging and interactive training sessions to teachers. This includes explaining complex technical concepts related to Tor and its applications to electrical engineering education in a way that is accessible and understandable to students. 
  • 7. Collaboration and Group Work: Promoting collaborative learning and group work among students to explore the applications of Tor in electrical engineering projects. Encouraging students to work together, share ideas, and solve problems using Tor. 
  • 8. Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey the benefits and proper use of Tor to teachers and students. This includes addressing questions, providing guidance, and offering ongoing support to educators and students.
  •  9. Evaluation and Feedback: Skill in assessing student learning outcomes and providing constructive feedback to teachers. This includes evaluating the effectiveness of Tor based learning activities and making improvements based on feedback. 

3. Qualifications and Experience 

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a security-related position, preferably in a similar role within an NGO or international organization. 
  •  Education: secondary high school diploma / A bachelor's degree or higher in electrical engineering or a related field is typically required. This provides you with a strong foundation in electrical engineering principles, which is essential for teaching and training others in the subject. 
  •  Teaching Experience: 2-5 experience as a teacher or instructor in the field of electrical engineering is valuable. This experience helps you understand the learning needs and challenges of students and enables you to effectively design and deliver training programs for teachers. 
  •  Tor Network Expertise: Extensive knowledge and expertise in the Tor network is crucial for this role. This can be acquired through self-study, online courses, certifications, or practical experience working with Tor in real-world scenarios. 
  •  Professional Experience: Industry experience in electrical engineering is highly beneficial. It gives you practical insights into the challenges and applications of electrical engineering concepts, which can be shared with teachers and students. 
  •  Training and Instructional Design: Familiarity with instructional design principles and training methodologies is essential. This includes the ability to develop training programs, create instructional materials, and deliver engaging and interactive sessions. 
  •  Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are important for effectively conveying complex technical concepts to teachers and students. This includes the ability to adapt your communication style to different audiences and address questions and concerns effectively.
